The free TiVo App for iOS is a comprehensive entertainment app that offers control, discovery, and a convenient way to view content. With this app, you can watch live or recorded TV on your TiVo device, schedule recordings, and browse through content using the guide, genre, or category. Additionally, you can explore information about the cast and crew, and even find out where the content is available, whether it's through cable TV, Netflix, Hulu PlusTM, YouTube, Amazon Instant Video, VOD in certain markets, and more.

The "What to Watch" feature combines real-time viewing data with recommendations and personal preferences to create a customized dashboard that presents the exact content you're interested in whenever you sit down to watch TV. This feature allows you to categorize content based on what is currently on TV, starting within the next 30 minutes, or airing later tonight. Categories include Popular on TV, Sports on Now, Powered by Thuuz, Movies on TV, Kids, Favorite Channels, Viewer's recorded TV, and Shared by Friends.

Users of TiVo Roamio Plus, TiVo Roamio Pro, TiVo BOLT, and TiVo Edge can seamlessly stream live or recorded programming to their iOS devices. You can download recordings while at home or away using WiFi or cellular data to watch when you have no connection. TiVo Stream users can stream live or recorded content to iOS devices within their home network and also download shows to watch on the go.

The TiVo app offers a range of features (some exclusive to TiVo Premiere or TiVo Roamio DVR customers), including:

If you're experiencing difficulties finding or connecting to your TiVo DVR, try one or more of the following steps:

1. Restart your network router by unplugging it, waiting 30 seconds, and plugging it back in.
2. Restart your TiVo DVR by following the instructions in the TiVo menus under Settings & Messages > Help > Restart or Reset System > Restart the TiVo Box.
